Tonight is the BCS National Championship game for College Football between the University of Texas and Alabama. Over the past week there has been a lot of commentators discussing the game and this clip from ESPN showcases the actions of one of the players from a scientific perspective.

Here at Progressive Sports we have developed a gait profile that replicates a person’s typical gait using a Fanuc irobot.
This was a six-month study conducted by Mark Roberts and Jouni Ronkainen, now with Progressive. They analysed, through biomechanical analysis, a series of runners foot movements during running and replicated it using the Fanuc irobot.

The World Village of Women Sports is a private sector initiative comprising of a multifunctional complex of 100,000 square metres. The first stage is scheduled for completion in 2012.
